Gameplay & Design
New Implementation
- Added Controlled Sprint Dribbling (RB, R1 or D)
- Added Solo Mode where player can play against AI.
- Added first-time penalties to all pass types based on incoming ball speed.
- A player is now automatically called short for corners.
- Added new run-up animations.
- Added additional logic to ensure successful slide tackles are rewarded better.
Adjustments & Improvements
- Increased buzzer beater duration from 5s to 10s.
- Increased min. jockey speed from 420 to 480 cm/s, increased max jockey speed from 450 cm/s to 520 cm/s.
- Improved throw-in trajectories.
- When dribbling without any user input, the player should come to a smoother stop, making it possible for them to be automatically tackled.
- The ball-holder is now less affected (lower movement penalty) by unsuccessful tackles that make contact with them.
- Intercepting crosses/lofted passes early in the trajectory no longer results in perfectly controlled traps.
- Separated 1v1 and 5v5 stamina drain rates and set new drain rates for 1v1.
- Trap Movement Improvements.
Goalkeeper Improvements
- Improved the Rush path and stance. Rushing out is more reliable and will result in more dives.
- Auto switching when rushing out. You now get control of the keeper if there's enough space.
- Added a "High Reflex" save type.
- Improved reliability against near post shots and long distance shots.
- Improved the accuracy of the arc movement.
- Improved Short-range reactions.
- Improved goalkeeper positioning on long shots.
- Dive towards ball-holders feet
- Improved Auto-clearance timings. Goalkeepers are now more reliable in clearing the ball when they get to it first.
- Increased the amount of aggressive dives against opponent's touches.
- Allow saves while getting up. Goalkeeper now has the ability to save while recovering from a dive.
- Attacking AI: Added more support to the ball holder by teammates.
AI Improvements
- Agents should face more towards the ball and in general should look less jerky.
- AI teammates will no longer block/trap your shots.
- Improved AI striker behavior when in a defensive state.
- The user-cone runner sprint control has been disabled. Now, when players turn away from runners, the runners will continue sprinting at full speed. Previously, runners would slow down to allow additional reaction time, but this behavior was found to be misleading.
- Offensive AI agents will only find a new position when the point is invalid shortly before arriving to reduce perceived indecisiveness.
- Defenders are better at containing opponents, specifically the wings when the ball is deeper in your own half. Strikers no longer go to the same location when defending.
- Adjusted defensive positioning to keep center-backs (CBs) back from the corners, rather than full-backs (FBs).
- Improved urgency during defending. Agents will sprint when necessary, e.g. to catch up with the opponent pushing fast.
Duel Improvements
- The winner of a duel will now recalculate the best position to meet the ball if they cannot reach the ball, which reduces the frequency of duels resulting in no contact.
- Improved collisions that were previously affecting the outcome of duels in unexpected ways.
- Update duel determination logic.
- Improved jump timing in duels.
Passing Improvements
- The trajectory of lofted passes and lofted through balls are now more consistent.
- Improved pass dispersion being too harsh.
- Adjusted the ground pass speed.
- Sprint touches are no longer forced when receiving a through pass.
Animation Improvements
- Numerous updates and refinements have been made to the locomotion animations, including the addition of more start and stop animations for smoother transitions.
- Stumble animation tweaks when colliding with others.
UI/UX/Audio & Quality of Life
- Added new Kits.
- Implemented skip-replay functionality for the conceding player.
- Added OVR value to Squad Screen
- Added player height, weight and preferred foot in stats.
- Updated the gamepad navigation to allow formation changes.
