Gameplay:

New Implementation:

  • Introduce "Walk" dribbling, which means if you only push the stick a small amount of the way then the dribble speed will be slower.
  • Introduce "Speed Jockeying", whereby a user will Jockey faster while holding the Sprint button.
  • Implement "direct advantage" rule on shots to correctly give a goal if a shot goes in after being fouled.
    Implemented new corner system where the corner taker takes a touch into the pitch instead of passing first.

Adjustments & Improvements:

  • Disable camera zoom while shooting/passing.
  • Tied Stand Tackle foul detection to HP system to reduce the number of fouls.
  • Interception range and permitted angle is now larger when Jockeying than when Walking.
  • Increased range and permitted angle for auto tackle when jockeying.
  • Add foot offsets while idling with the ball, to ensure the ball is "ready" on the strong foot for when a player begins moving again.
  • Goalkeeper penalty saving attribute now correctly used to chose between catch/parry.
  • Goalkeeper penalty saving attribute now affects the saving box size.

Design Adjustments:

  • Increased the speed of high crosses, resulting in a lower trajectory.
  • Temporarily lowered the impact of the first-touch stat on speed loss when receiving through balls.
  • Increased initial blocking radius for low and mid heights.
  • Increased the execution angle of auto-tackles when in the jockey state.
  • Increased auto-tackle radius when in the jockey state.
  • Increased offside trap min/max reaction times to ensure runs are tracked for longer.
  • Introduced the goalkeeper penalty stat, affecting the size of the goalkeeper target during penalties.
  • Adjusted max angles for outside foot shots, where the curve stat affects the max angle an outside foot shot can be taken from.
  • Increased HighCross Speed to lower trajectory.
  • Receiver Speed Threshold Forward Pass increased to 509cm/s for all through pass types.
  • Temporarily lowered the impact of the first-touch stat on speed when receiving through balls.
  • Increased deviation towards goal centre for all shot types.
  • Reduced number of non-optimal AI runs.
