This Dutch center-back commands the backline like a flamboyant showman, utilizing his imposing frame and impeccable tackling, even if his flair sometimes leads to the occasional lapses in positioning. Having overcome a bizarre tropical fish allergy that nearly derailed his career, he funneled that frustration into an unmatched, aggressive work ethic. Today, he stands as both an immovable defensive tower and a high-energy orchestrator who treats every challenge like a starring performance.
