Gameplay
- Passing & Shooting: Major improvements to through-ball accuracy, including better turn prediction, smarter offside-line awareness, more reliable blocked-lane detection, and improved lofted through-pass consistency. Fixed an issue that could occasionally cause passes and shots to feel delayed.
- Physicality & Defending: Stronger shoulder challenges, more impactful contact, increased jockey speed and responsiveness, and reduced reliance on Strength/Balance ratings at the low end.
- Second Player Press: Pressers will now mirror dribblers more actively when closing down. The duration of this behavior scales with the Aggression attribute (0.5–2.0 seconds), after which their ability to mirror is significantly reduced, rewarding manual player switching and defending.
- Skill Moves & Agility: Rebalanced skill move exit speeds to reduce unrealistic acceleration. Agility now has a stronger speed-versus-turning tradeoff, with improved turn responsiveness.
- Goalkeeping: Added new save variations, improved save animations and positioning, and increased goalkeeper willingness to dive. Fixed issues with late duel unlocks and goalie strafe detection.
- Defensive AI: Improved defensive line structures, with full-backs and wing-backs maintaining the offside line more effectively. Refined run-tracking and man-marking hand-off logic, and increased the flexibility of the marking system to reduce situations where defenders fail to react to dangerous attacking threats.
UI
- Collection: Added sorting options for Overall Rating and Potential. Favorite players can no longer be accidentally sold or discarded.
Matchmaking
- Tournaments: Tournaments now use a fully round-based format instead of SBMM matchmaking. This change will take effect when the current tournaments expire on Thursday. Tournament resets will also move to Mondays.
- Ping priority: Continued tuning to improve the balance between queue times and server quality. Server ping is now prioritized more heavily when finding matches.
